I'm Not the Only One Feeling Rested

I hope your weekends are treating you well. We have had a great day and we've made some decisions about the shape of our future. I'll be sharing some of these (I think very exciting) details soon. All I can say is that I feel lighter, as though I might just float away.

For now, I offer you my youngest:

I can't be the only impressed by that flexibility.

  1. So glad you're feeling rested. I can't wait to hear about these exciting details. My weekend so far: Eli made schnitzel for dinner on Friday night. I ate it with A1 sauce, and it rocked my world. We had peas, too. Yesterday: lazy morning at home, long walk with E in the afternoon, dinner with friends at a (great!) new tapas place. Now: settling in to read and evaluate an undergrad's senior literature thesis. Later: going for a run. Even later: dinner with friends. I like this weekend.

  2. So, so happy you're a little better rested. Your girl is delicious. Can't remember how I found you, but I've been following and thinking of you. Being a grownup can be a bummer, and SCARY. Can't wait to hear your news!

  3. Jess, that sounds like one amazing weekend. I'm impressed at all the things you've fit in, but it doesn't sound rushed or too busy. I guess it's a good busy. Also, Alyce and I made your banana bread recipe yesterday with great success, meaning, Alyce loved it. She was turned of, naturally, by the brown bananas, but couldn't turn it down in the end. Thanks for post!

Leigh Anne, thanks for the all the good thoughts! She is all the more delicious now that she's sleeping!
